Updating PIN Number for Customers in SAM


If you update a PIN number for a customer, after updating the PIN number in Polaris in when you go to PC Activity Manager you need to modify “Patron Record” do not import.  If you do “Import User” the customer will need to log on to a public computer to verify the PIN number change before their record in the SAM database is updated.  Otherwise users will not be able to log on to the copy controllers.
